YouTube videos of Technology Unit
Below you will find video documentation of technology being implemented into my technology unit. The videos were taken over a four day time period and demonstrate some of the use of technology in my classroom.
This video shows students learning about Google Advance Search. All students had iPads and were conducting research in their groups for the unit. We used GAS to help narrow down our search for the limited time we had to research, and to make sure that students were using copyright friendly pictures for their research.
Above is a Screencast of student work. Students created a class Lino board for their research to share their information with each other. Each group was required to find information on specific topic and provide visual aids of either pictures of videos to enhance their information.
Above is a slit video of students learning how to create a Google Form. They were very engaged in this process because they were intrigued on how it works. They have taken Google Forms before, but never created their own.
Above is a video of students practicing Quizizz for the first time. This was a new program for them to take an assessment. They have taken assessments on the ipads before with programs like Kahoot, Socrative, and Edmodo, but not on Quizizz. After the students were comfortable with the program, they received their post assessment to take for the class.
